I would like to honour this sacred land on which I practice. It is the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Huron-Wendat. It continues to be home to many Indigenous people. The effects of residential schools and colonialism on Indigenous families and communities persist and I am committed to a spirit of collaboration and reconciliation.
